Chase OverviewThe 2010 chase season is in the books. This was my first full season of chasing and I believe it went quite well. I was able to chase on two moderate risk days and a high risk day(though I did not chase in the high risk zone). On my first major chase which was a moderate risk on June 5th, I was able to catch my first two tornadoes in West-Central Illinois. Other notable events include a moderate risk wind event on June 15th along the southern Illinois/Indiana border, the derecho on June 18th, the derecho on June 23rd in North-Central Illinois and two late season events. All in all a good start to chasing, especially given I was limited to staying fairly local.
